Welcome to Little Zion Preschool

It has been a pleasure spending time with your children this year!
We can hardly believe May has arrived. What a wonderful year we have had. The children have grown in so many ways. Everyone is taller and more independent. Our teachers are so pleased with the development in skills that each child has shown. The children have all learned so many things: letters, numbers, shapes, addresses, phone numbers, colors, rhyming words, opposites, science experiments, weather watching, songs of joy and best of all, they learned about Jesus. We saw them learn to put on their coats; some even learned to zip. We watched them take pride in their schoolwork, create beautiful paintings at the easel, build huge block buildings and pretend to be everything from a fireman to an astronaut. We are confident that the children going on to kindergarten are well equipped to succeed in all skill areas. For our 3’s, we will be excited to continue to support their learning experience next year. Our wish for all of the families at Little Zion is God’s richest blessings and that our families would continue to be a blessing to those around them. We have faith that God will keep our little ones always in His care. Have a safe and happy summer.

Beach Days and Graduation
Please return your picnic response sheet so that we can plan for our parties! Our threes beach day is planned for children and their parents. Our graduation celebration is for our fours and pre-k groups and family and friends are invited to the celebration with dinner following! Please use the attached form to RSVP. Reminder: Our last day of school is May 23 for the 4’s; and May 24 for the 3’s and pre-k. Graduation is at 5:15 on May 24th; children should arrive at 5:00. 3’s will have their last day of school on Thursday, May 24th. Children arrive at 9:00 and parents join us at 10:00 for a picnic lunch and beach games. There will be no extended day 3’s on May 24th. Please join us as we celebrate a wonderful year at preschool.

- Remember to keep snacks small with 2 food groups! Keep lunches small too! Please remember to send a separate snack if your child is in the extended day programs and a cold pack if anything needs refrigeration.

- Jesus time happens weekly at the white altar in our center area. The children hear a story (with the help of our puppet Jelly) that talks about God's love & forgiveness. Check your weekly extension board for Jelly's next story.

- Each month the bulletin boards will change.
